On Stage, In The Community
From annual breaking championships to community festivals — Fresh Skillz CIC puts culture on the stage and in the street.
Fresh Skillz Breaking Championships
The Annual Fresh Skillz Breaking Championships has been a key part of the UK breaking scene since 2005. Before the establishment of Fresh Skillz CIC, Fresh Skillz began by organising Open 2vs2 and Crew Breaking Championships at the famous Contact Theatre in Manchester.
Since then, the championships have continued every year, creating an energetic and inspiring platform for professional breakdancers, B-Boys, and B-Girls to showcase their skills live on a big stage in front of audiences and the wider dance community.
Over the years, the event has helped support and celebrate breaking culture by bringing together dancers from different backgrounds, cities, and generations.
The championships continue to provide opportunities for both established professional dancers and the next generation of beginners to develop confidence, creativity, and performance experience.

Turkish Culture Festival
The Turkish Culture Festival, organised by Fresh Skillz CIC in Stockport town centre, is a vibrant community celebration that brings people together through culture, music, food, art, and live performances.
The festival was created to celebrate and share the richness of Turkish culture with the wider community — creating a welcoming atmosphere where people of all ages and backgrounds can connect, learn, and enjoy cultural experiences together.
Throughout the event, visitors experience traditional Turkish music, dance performances, authentic cuisine, cultural displays, family activities, and community entertainment.
The Turkish Culture Festival continues to grow each year, attracting families, local residents, artists, performers, and visitors from across Greater Manchester. It has become an important cultural event that celebrates heritage while building stronger connections between different communities.
